Forty years of teaching for justice. Forty years of building community. Forty years of Rethinking Schools!
Join us for a virtual celebration and fundraiser marking 40 years of Rethinking Schools — a night of reflection, connection, and looking ahead.
Every registration and donation helps ensure educators across the country have the resources they need to teach the truth and build a more just world.
Join us for:
- Guest speakers’ reflections on Rethinking Schools, including Bob Peterson, founding editor of Rethinking Schools, and Brian Jones, award-winning author of Black History is for Everyone
- A brand-new organizational timeline — revisit four decades of the history that’s shaped our work
- A sneak peek into what’s next — get an inside look at upcoming Rethinking Schools projects, campaigns, and resources
- Breakout conversations — connect in small groups with fellow supporters, educators, and organizers to reflect on RS’s impact over the past 40 years and dream together about what’s possible for the future of justice-centered education
- Special giveaways – chances to win surprises throughout the celebration
And more!
Come celebrate where we’ve been and help shape where we’re going.
