November 10, 2025 at 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm CST

On Monday, November 10, scholar Joshua Clark Davis, in conversation with Rethinking Schools editor Jesse Hagopian, will discuss his new book Police Against the Movement: The Sabotage of the Civil Rights Struggle and the Activists Who Fought Back, an examination of the civil rights struggle through its work against police violence — and a prehistory of both the Black Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter movements that emerged half a century later.
