Action Education: Chicago Social Justice Curriculum Fair
Hundreds of teachers will gather in Chicago on Saturday, November 20 to share teaching ideas, lessons, and resources on teaching for social justice. This 4th annual social justice curriculum fair is sponsored by Chicago Teachers for Social Justice and co-sponsored by Rethinking Schools.
Individual teachers and groups of teachers are encouraged to register to display curricular materials. In past years, displays and resources have included teaching in many curricular areas: science, language arts, social studies, math, reading, visual arts, photography, and more. There will also be a variety of short workshops on teaching for social justice. Rethinking Schools and other vendors will have curricular materials for sale. All educators are welcome; no pre-registration is required.
