Accessibility Statement

Rethinking Schools is committed to ensuring the accessibility and usability of all our websites and content for people with disabilities. We work with accessibility experts and are actively working toward making our websites compliant with the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards or better.

All of our frontlist ebook content is provided in EPUB format, which supports accessibility features across many devices and platforms. As of April 6, all frontlist EPUBs meet the DAISY Consortium’s ACE standards and WCAG 2.1 Level AA, including alternative text.

We are working to ensure our PDF content follows accessibility best practices, including proper document structure, tagging, and readability to support use with assistive technologies. A growing percentage of our PDF catalog is fully accessible, and we prioritize remediation efforts based on impact and user requests. To support accessibility, archived magazine article PDFs are accompanied by accessible web versions of the same content.
