Writing can be a transformative tool for community-building and activism. Join Rethinking Schools and D.C. Area Educators for Social Justice for a three-day, in-person writers’ workshop in Washington, D.C. This workshop invites D.C.-area educators to reflect, write, and share the powerful stories rooted in their classrooms, communities, and lived experiences. Educators will have the opportunity to engage with generative prompts, receive peer feedback and feedback from Rethinking Schoolseditors, and have guided writing time to develop a draft article for Rethinking Schools magazine.
Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just starting, this workshop is for you.
Lunch and snacks will be provided.
