Spring 2003 The U.S. government's war logic continues, with the risk of a dramatic outcome in the upcoming weeks. The UN inspectors have yet to find a single weapon "of mass destruction," and it is becoming ever more apparent that they are not the true reason for the war under preparation. SNUipp declares our opposition to the war against Iraq. Everything possible must be done to prevent this war, primarily through the mobilization of public opinion. SNUipp calls on school teachers to participate in the unified anti-war actions, such as the January 18th and February 15th demonstrations.(Translated from French for Rethinking Schools by Elish Sari) Spring 2003 |
